This program, sponsored by the MBUTA, is a means by which the outstanding teachers in the district can be recognized for their daily commitment to the students, parents, and community of Manhattan Beach. Students, parents, colleagues, and other classified staff, and administrators may submit nominations for the Teacher Spotlight. Teachers will be chosen randomly from the nominations submitted. The Final Numbers are In!
 The 2010/2011 MBEF Annual Appeal has successfully raised an amazing $4.1M. A HUGE heart-felt thank you to each and everyone of you for helping to make this possible. This could not have been achieved without your support and dedication to our community and our children. 96% of Pacific families helped raise $608K! A special thank you to the following people who helped Pacific achieve these numbers: Ellen Chao, Jenny Cohen, Cathy Hobart, Birgitta Istock, Kristi Knowles, Kim Noonen, Diane Saunders, Tina Schmucki, Nicole Sevier, Tina Stout, Jane Stravropoulos, Jennifer Williams, Theresa Wood and Lori Wymbs. A huge thank you also goes to all of our dedicated Pacific teachers as well as Mrs. Mabry and the office support staff, Susie Howat and Shirley Rickard. Pacific had an amazing team working on this campaign. Every class earned a bonus and 17 classes had 100% family participation! We were very fortunate to be able to work with you all to support our schools and our kids!
